RenoProofs ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
2. Data We Collect
We collect the following types of data:
- Account data — email address and display name provided at sign-up
- Job data — client names, job types, and dates you enter
- Photos — images you upload, including any embedded EXIF metadata (timestamp, GPS coordinates) on paid plans
- Payment data — billing is handled by Stripe; we store only your Stripe customer ID, not card details
- Analytics data — with your consent, we collect anonymised usage data via Google Analytics
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the Service
- To process subscription payments
- To generate shareable job galleries for your clients
- To improve the Service through anonymised analytics (only with your consent)
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate RenoProofs:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- Stripe — payment processing for paid plans
- Vercel — web hosting and deployment
- Google Analytics — usage analytics (only loaded after your explicit consent)
5. Cookies
We use a single analytics cookie (Google Analytics) which is only set after you explicitly accept via our cookie banner. You can decline or withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for renoproofs.com.
6. Photo GPS Data
On Solo and Pro plans, EXIF GPS coordinates embedded in uploaded photos are stored and displayed to you in the job management view. GPS data is never shown on public-facing client galleries.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the Service (e.g. storing files with Supabase) or as required by law.
8. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
9. Your Rights

10. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
